Favorite iPad apps of 2022

As you might not know, I’m a grandmother stuck in the body of a 33 year old. I wake up, get myself a cup of coffee, tidy up, clean and go sit down with my iPad or laptop. Living the life, if you ask me. I use my iPad every day and I have used it every day since I got it for Christmas in 2020 (best gift ever, no lie). I cannot imagine a world without my iPad and I do realize that this makes me sound like an addict. Well, maybe I am, but I also like to share. So here’s my list of favorite iPad apps in 2022!

Digital drawing is not only fun, it’s really relaxing. I have shared some of my digital drawings before in the form of goodies and I draw them all in ProCreate. ProCreate is the app to draw in for iPad, but boy was I overwhelmed at first. There are so many options and ways to make a perfect circle or taps to the screen to undo or redo. It was me vs this blank screen and I knew I wanted to get something on it. So, I watched a lot of YouTube tutorials like any other sane person would. It’s there, for free, no need to panick: YouTube it! And okay, it turned out to be pretty easy – at least the basics – once you get the hang of it. ProCreate is a paid app, but it’s a one time expense, so don’t worry about monthly costs. You can buy it in the App Store.

The app that makes me turn on my iPad every single day is 100% the GoodNotes5 app. The way I thought this was a basic app, oh, how I fooled myself. Thankfully I found my way around the app and the way to install digital planners. You can get a lot of planners and notebooks for free, but there’s a world out there filled with amazing digital planners that really are worth every penny. I myself use the DashPlanner and have used their planner since 2020. I’ve also written an article about my favorite digital planners, check that out if you want to know where to get some amazing planners!

On number three the app that most (and especially creative) people will probably recognize, Canva. I like design, I like pretty things and lovely colors, so I use Canva. I use Canva to make sure all my social medias accounts have the same colors and styles. I use Canva to make Pinterest templates and just edit pictures. It’s very versatile, especially if you use Canva with a Premium account. You can of course use this app for free on basically any device, but if you want even more options, go Premium for under 12 euro’s a month.

Have fun!
